Biography

Rada Rodriguez is a senior executive and non executive board member with more than two decades of leadership experience in global industrial and technology driven organizations. She has held full P&L responsibility for multi country businesses with revenues in the billions and has served on boards of listed companies and major European industry institutions.

Her career spans executive leadership, board governance, and European level industry representation, with deep expertise in industrial technology, energy transition, organizational transformation, and regulated markets. She operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance, where decisions carry material, long term consequences.

Executive leadership

Rada is currently CEO for the DACH region and Senior Vice President for Northern Europe at Signify, with responsibility for Germany, the Nordics, and Eastern Europe. Her remit covers complex, multi market operations with significant scale, margin pressure, and regulatory exposure. Her work focuses on strategic repositioning, organizational redesign, efficiency, and leadership development in the context of ongoing technological and regulatory disruption.

Previously, she held multiple senior leadership roles at Schneider Electric, including CEO of Germany and General Manager for Central and Eastern Europe, with P&L responsibility of approximately €1.3 billion. In these roles, she led large scale transformations, integrated multiple acquisitions, redesigned organizations for scale, and repositioned businesses within highly competitive industrial ecosystems.

At European level, she also served in senior corporate roles covering industrial alliances, M&A, and EU industrial policy, combining commercial leadership with deep regulatory and stakeholder engagement.

Board and governance experience

Alongside her executive career, Rada has more than seven years of experience as a non executive director in listed companies and industry organizations.

She served as Non Executive Director at James Hardie Industries from 2018 to 2025 and chaired the Nomination and Governance Committee for three years. Her board work included governance oversight in a multi listed environment, CEO succession, board refreshment, ESG governance, and strategic guidance during periods of transformation and leadership transition.

Her other board roles include Non Executive Director at Eltel AB, Vice President and board member of ZVEI, and President of Orgalim, the European industry association representing advanced manufacturing. In these roles, she has been directly involved in shaping industrial competitiveness, energy transition policy, and governance standards at European level.

She has also served as Executive Advisor and ESG Board Member to FSN Capital, advising private equity investments in the energy transition and electrical distribution sectors.

Leadership under complexity

Rada’s leadership experience has been shaped by environments characterized by technological disruption, regulatory pressure, and geopolitical uncertainty. She has led organizations through major transitions including LED driven business disruption, supply chain crises, COVID related shutdowns, and senior leadership changes.

Her approach is grounded in early recognition of reality, structured decision making, and disciplined execution. She is known for bringing clarity and stability in situations where complexity, pressure, and ambiguity dominate.

Perspective and values

Rada grew up in Romania under a restrictive political system and later immigrated to Sweden, experiences that shaped a strong respect for competence, integrity, and responsibility. She brings a distinctly European perspective to global leadership, informed by hands on experience across Europe, the United States, Australia, and Asia.

She believes that sustainable performance depends on clarity of judgment, honest assessment of reality, and leadership that is grounded in understanding rather than narrative.
